WILDLIFE WEDNESDAY: ELK AT THE NATIONAL ELK REFUGE IN JACKSON HOLE

On this particular day we had a great day of wildlife viewing on our Grand Teton Winter Wonderland Tour! We spotted over 15 Moose, several Bald Eagles, 10 or so Coyotes, and while on the sleigh ride in the National Elk Refuge, we had the pleasure of  seeing these beautiful Elk. In early January 2015 there were an estimated 5,000 elk on the refuge. To see large animals in these numbers is a privilege.
