What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Website forms

When booking a trip online, we generally collect your name, address, phone number, email address, credit card information and certain other types of personal information. Cookies

Note: Our email newsletters will be sent to you if you supply us with your email address through our website or over the telephone. BrushBuck Tours uses a third party service provider to manage customer data and securely deliver email newsletters to your email address. We also use this service to authenticate and validate the information provided by you to help assure that our e-mail is successfully delivered and your privacy secured. We have a legally binding agreement with this third-party service provider that prohibits it from using your information for any purpose other than in accordance with the terms of its agreement with BrushBuck Tours.

You can opt-out of our email subscription service at any time. Each promotional email you receive from BrushBuck Tours will include a link that allows you to quickly and easily unsubscribe from any or all BrushBuck Tours email newsletters.

Please note: In order to process your trip reservations or answer your questions, we may still send you emails from our personal accounts, or we may contact you by mail or telephone if we have questions about your vacation itinerary.

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our website periodically.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Who we share your data with

BrushBuck Tours will NOT share, sell, or rent your personal information to any other organization for the purpose of marketing or solicitation.

What rights you have over your data
