Alaska: Kenai Fjords & Denali National Park 5 Day Adventure Tour

Your BrushBuck Guide will pick you up at your hotel for the beginning of your adventure! We will depart Anchorage and head south to the Crow Creek Gold Mine to experience Alaska’s rich pioneer mining history.

Travelers will have a chance to pan for gold and walk the historic mining area before we head to the Alyeska ski resort to go up the tram! Beautiful 360 degree views of snow capped peaks and the Turnagain Arm await.

After lunch and a chance to shop the town of Girdwood we depart for Seward. Your guide will interpret the history and landscape while stopping along the way at scenic turnouts.

Pack up and say goodbye to the ocean and hello to the Alaska interior! After a delicious breakfast we depart for the moderate hike to the Exit Glacier just minutes from Seward. Walking up to a glacier is an unforgettable experience that all our travelers enjoy!

We will then head to the Bear Creek Fish Weir (seasonally dependent) to potentially see salmon running in the creek up close! Your guide will stop at scenic overlooks for pictures such as the Hurricane Bridge overlook and the Denali South View Point for bathroom breaks and pictures before arriving in the small town of Healy to settle in for tomorrows activities.

Today we visit the historical dog mushing team of Denali National Park! These dogs are the only sled dog team in the National Park Service and are still used for supplying the backcountry of the park in the winter. After the sled dog presentation we depart for Anchorage. Guests who would like to ride the train to Anchorage may do so from Denali or Talkeetna.
