We booked a Grand Teton Wildlife Tour (dawn) recently on our trip to Jackson Hole, WY. Our tour guide was good and very knowledgeable, but in all honestly the tour itself was bit of a letdown. I understand there is no way to predict whether or not you'll be able to see wildlife on the tour, but website shows a safari-like open top vehicle on dirt roads for the warmer months, and shows a van in the snow. We were picked up in a van and driven down the paved roads inside Grant Teton National Park. After 4 hours our tour guide tells us that we can go later going on the same roads looking for wildlife. I thought to myself had I know what the tour was going to be I could have done exactly that. I could have driven those roads myself looking for wildlife and stopping to see them through a scope and binoculars. I could have saved myself a lot of money by doing so. To be clear we enjoyed the tour, but felt it was a bit too expensive for what it was in the winter months. Maybe the summer months it is a completely different experience, but for what we as a family experienced we could have better exercised that money elsewhere. Nice tour, but too expensive so in my opinion a 3 star rating is fair.

I didn’t know what to expect but I was pleasantly delighted with the overall experience. Although most of the spots we checked out I had done on my own the other days I was there, our guide had so much knowledge of the area and of the wildlife that it was a great experience still. We got to see some moose , deer, and bison through his binoculars, his spotter which then he used to send you photos of the animals captured. The van ride was comfortable and it was a great change from driving around to being able to look out and looking for animals as we drove around. He had drinks and snacks for us and made the experience worth the price. I’d recommend it, especially if you are not driving around through the Tetons yourself and want someone to guide you out there as a group. We had our yearly parks pass which covers 4 people so we didn’t have to buy a pass that day.

My 2 brothers and I had a phenomenal Yellowstone full day tour last week with tour guide Ron. He was very enthusiastic and passionate as he shared an unbelievable amount of info about both Grand Teton and Yellowstone. You can tell he really loves his job and he's excellent at it. The amount of time you save taking this tour rather than driving yourself makes the cost totally worth it. First of all, you don't have to fight for parking, the guide simply drops you off right at the front of all the featured/main highlights (geysers, waterfalls, rivers, etc). It's so nice to be able to relax and look out the big windows instead of constantly looking at maps or directions. It's certainly a long day but it's a super way to get an overview of the beauty and awe inspiring scenery of this area, especially if you are limited with time. I will certainly consider Brushbuck for other tours in the future.

Hi! This is one of the best tours we’ve ever been on. After only seeing chipmunks and crows in our trip we had one last day to get in some animal sightseeing. We got so lucky with our group as well as Kelsey. She is super knowledgeable and holistic. She knew pre and post 1800s history, the biology, geography, geology, interesting facts about the Tetons and yellowstone, the wildlife… the list goes on. She got us coffee and kept us on a great pace. We saw a moose, bald eagle, elk, deer…. Otters. We had the most magical day. I hope this company takes note of how spectacular Kelsey is. It’s rare you find someone like her who is just passionate and a master of her craft and very clearly excellent with all kinds of people. Thank you so much Kelsey!

My boyfriend and I did a tour yesterday with Anthony and Rachel and we highly recommend taking it with them! They were very knowledgeable on the wildlife and land of Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons. We saw Mule Deer, Elk, Otters, Fox, Osprey, Moose and so many other animals! It was such a neat experience and they knew where to go to spot the animals. You can tell they genuinely love what they are doing and wanted everyone in the group to get the most out of it and see as much as possible. Snacks, drinks and blankets were provided when it started to get cold at sunset which was a huge plus.

Jay and I really enjoyed our tour. One of the things that made it was our Guide Daniel. There was not a time when we had any worries, He kept us well informed, made sure we could see all of the wildlife and more. It is said that only 30% of tourists are able to see the Denali Mountain itself. We got to see it. Daniel shared his photos from a Camera that makes all of the difference. What and Thank you!

Definitely take this tour with Neil, you won't regret it. You will see as much as possible in one day including wildlife, waterfalls, geothermals, Old Faithful and so many great views of The Grand Tetons. We saw moose 20 yards away (no joke), elk, antelope, a wolf and so many bison (also up close). Such a great tour! Our guide, Neil, was super knowledgeable and made sure we never had to wait with the crowds of people in Yellowstone during the summer. We had the best views of everything and heard stories we will always remember. Seriously, if this guy were a professor you could listen to him all day, everyday and not want to leave his class. Great for both families and friend groups. Definitely don't miss this Brush Buck experience.

This was worth the money and more! Mark, our guide, went out of his way to make sure we had as many sightings as possible. We did the morning tour, it was a little chilly in late July, but he was more than accommodating with blankets and snacks and drinks. Mark was extremely knowledgeable, sharing facts about the animals, historical background of the national park and little tidbits in between. Our two 12 year olds were mesmerized the entire time! Mark was determined to make sure we had a fantastic experience. Love this tour, would highly recommend it!

We had an amazing Alaska experience with our guide, Kyle! We visited Kenai Fjords and Denali National Park, boating and hiking near glaciers and exploring beautiful mountains and tiny rustic towns. Even on cold, rainy days, the trip was wonderful and well worth it. Kyle was an excellent guide, with endless knowledge, fun facts, and hilarious personal stories. Be sure to ask him about the best steak he ever had. He was super accommodating and flexible, endlessly polite, and had the best restaurant recommendations. Not sure he’s completely human. 😆 Thanks for a great time and very memorable trip!

Many thanks to our tour guide, Connor! He did a great job making an all day tour from Jackson a huge highlight of our vacation! He shared so much knowledge about the parks, the sights, the early Americans who explored it, the animals (we saw 4 grizzlies, a red fox, a coyote, bald eagle and so many bison). We were a group of 5 and opted for a private Yellowstone Old Faithful & falls tour but requested also to go to Grand Prismatic Spring. I loved that we had an expert who knew exactly where to go (and where all the best bathrooms were along the way lol), did all the driving, and we didn't have to think about a thing, just absorb it all. Would definitely recommend.

If I could give more than five stars I would! I had a wonderful time with Kyle, my guide, for the day long wildlife tour in the Tetons. He was a wealth of information and had a special gift for spotting wildlife. His enthusiasm for wildlife was contagious! We recently did two full days of guided tours, with Kelsey as our guide both days. We had such a great time. Of course it’s hard to go wrong with the beauty of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, but Kelsey helped make the trip better than we imagined. First of all, Kelsey was fun to be around. She didn’t mind our lame dad jokes and constant ribbing between the seven guys we had. She laughed and participated which was more fun for all of us. Second, Kelsey really knows her stuff. She has a degree in biology and boy did it show. She was so knowledgeable about every animal we asked about. She knew about their breeding habits, their genealogy, and more. It was quite intriguing listening to her descriptions of what we were seeing. Third, she went out of the way to make the trip memorable. She simply would not quit on making sure we saw the wildlife we wanted to see. On the second full day tour, she told us she’d stayed up late reading up on many topics she thought we might ask about. It was really cool to hear that she took the time to prepare like that for our tour. We saw just about everything we’d hoped to see and more. Moose, bison, otters, bald eagle, elk, pronghorn, the list goes on and on. It is such a magical place and we enjoyed it far more because of the professionalism and dedication of Kelsey and BrushBuck Tours. RACHEL is AMAZING!!! We booked the full day wildlife Grand Teton tour, she took us on an amazing adventure seeing all kinds of wildlife, majestic scenery and a fabulous local spot for lunch to take to our picnic by the river. We had such a wonderful time, we immediately booked another full day Yellowstone tour, Rachel was scheduled to be off the day of our second excursion...... BUT she decided to work and WOW this one was even better - after searching for black bears for 2 days we finally saw 2 bears within 10 minutes of each other!!! Our family had a wonderful sunrise Safari. Andrew was very friendly & knowledgeable. We were able to see elk, moose, pronghorn antelope, a bear & a blue heron. We also received a lot of historical information plus some geology facts. The morning was a little chilly but- they provided blankets as well as, binocular’s and snacks. I have searched for years to see a bear in the wild and Rachael brought this to life for me. She is a super star. Her passion and love of nature and wildlife made our trip truly special. Cleaning and sanitizing vehicles after every tour
Use of disposable items like tablecloths, paper plates and cups
Operating vehicles at 50% capacity to provide a greater social distance for customers throughout the tour.
Operating private tours so each group one family or travel group
Guests will have availability to face masks and hand sanitizer throughout the tour

Our 10 passenger vehicles will be booked at a 5 passenger capacity. Perfect for booking accommodations as private family or travel groups vacations.
